Mitchell Grocery Corporation has proven that it is committed to making a positive difference in Marshall County through its loyal support of United Way. The company's employees have been extremely generous in their contributions as their work place campaigns consistently rank as one of the top three in our county. They have been awarded many campaign awards over the years for per capita giving and most recently, the company received one of the highest campaign awards when it was awarded the Spirit of Giving Award in 2017.

Corporately, Mitchell Grocery Corporation believes in United Way's mission and encourages employees to give back by volunteering their time to complete Day of Caring service projects and serve as board members, campaign cabinet members, allocation committee members and loaned executives. Mitchell Grocery Corporation and Foodland Stores have also become valuable partners in our annual Can-a-thon event as we work to collect canned goods and nonperishable items for those that struggle with food insecurity in our county.
